Laboratory Applications & Validation Specialist Lake Elmo, MN 55042 From $100,000 a year - Full-time From $100,000 a year - Full-time About the job Are you passionate about turning complex analytical challenges into reliable, automated laboratory solutions? Do you enjoy hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and collaborating with scientists and engineers? If so, this role might be your next big step. We're looking for a Laboratory Applications & Validation Specialist who thrives at the intersection of automation, analytical chemistry, and real‑world customer workflows. What you'll do You'll play a key role in ensuring our automation solutions perform flawlessly — from early feasibility testing to customer‑ready validation. Every project brings new challenges — and new opportunities to innovate. ✨ Your impact includes: Testing and validating customer‑specific automation workflows Supporting Proof‑of‑Concepts for customer and internal development projects Providing on‑site expertise in customer labs Testing CDS drivers and performing regression tests Running functional and performance tests on new modules and tools Evaluating ease‑of‑use and giving feedback to Product Management Creating and maintaining test reports, SOPs, and documentation Developing and testing PMC steps for OEM and specialized applications Supporting script training for our Technical Support team What you bring We're looking for someone who enjoys hands‑on lab work and has a natural curiosity for automation technology.
Required Skills & Education:
Bachelor's of Science (such as Chemistry or Engineering, etc) preferred. Practical lab experience (LC‑MS or automation is a plus) Technical understanding of robotics, automation modules, and analytical workflows Experience with test planning, validation, and structured documentation Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills A collaborative, team‑oriented mindset Completed training as a laboratory technician (or equivalent) Hands‑on laboratory experience Willingness to travel occasionally for customer support Nice to have Experience with chromatographic data systems (CDS) Solid background in analytical chemistry Why join us You'll work with cutting‑edge automation technology, collaborate with cross‑functional experts, and directly influence solutions used in laboratories worldwide.
