Job Description:

Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company has an immediate opening for a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Laboratory Supervisor or Senior Laboratory Technician for a long-term project at a mine in Bagdad, Arizona. . The successful candidate will perform standard laboratory test methods including proctors, sieves, Atterberg Limits, Compression, Sampling, and splitting of samples. Duties also include calibrating equipment, maintaining proper and complete laboratory data, lab certification and maintenance, maintaining/purchasing equipment, supervision of a small team of field and/or lab technicians (when hired; this is a new office), clear communications with the Office or Project Manager regarding all aspects of the laboratory operations including providing of neat and orderly project documentations. Also responsible for obtaining and maintaining lab accreditation.

Required Skills:

The successful candidate should have 4+ years of experience in laboratory testing for soils, concrete, aggregate and/or asphalt, Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must have a current valid driver's license. Supervision experience a plus, but not required.

Required Certifications:

Must have ACI Strength, ATTI Soils and Aggregate, ACI Field and MSHA certifications.
