Job Description

Category Laboratory - Lab Tech Job Type Contract Seeking skilled professionals to join a dynamic laboratory team, working as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) on a contract assignment. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced clinical environment, supporting essential diagnostic and testing services.
Schedule/Hours:
Night shifts 7 on, 7 off alternating with 4 shifts of 10 hours (8:00 PM - 6:30 AM) followed by 3 shifts of 12 hours (8:00 PM - 8:30 AM) 36-hour weekly guarantee Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities
Key Qualifications:
Current certification or eligibility as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control, and regulatory standards Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication abilities to report and document laboratory findings
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests aligned with medical protocols Accurately process specimens and deliver precise test results within set timeframes Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure efficient operation Monitor and adhere to quality assurance and safety measures Record data and prepare reports for review by laboratory supervisors and healthcare providers Collaborate with clinicians and support staff to deliver reliable diagnostic services
