Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape and Concrete Laborer, where you will play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces and construction sites into functional, beautiful environments. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation including planting, grading, and soil preparation to create sustainable outdoor environments. Prepare and set concrete forms using blueprint reading and schematics to ensure precise pours and finishes. Operate power tools and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and compactors safely and efficiently. Install rebar reinforcement for concrete structures following safety standards and project specifications. Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, sealing, caulking, and applying stucco or plaster as needed. Handle heavy lifting of materials like stone, pavers, and concrete blocks to support hardscape projects. Support renovation efforts by executing carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, framing, or metal stud framing on-site. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow project plans for masonry, tile laying, or flooring installation. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and adhering to safety protocols on site. Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on landscaping or concrete projects. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding project scopes. Hands-on knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming, pouring techniques, and finishing methods. Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment including forklifts or cranes if applicable. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of tasks. Experience with masonry techniques such as bricklaying or stone setting is a plus. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in various weather conditions. Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
