Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate landscape projects. This leadership role involves supervising a a small team while ensuring extremely high-quality work in various outdoor settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of landscaping along with proven supervisory skills or show willingness to learn quickly. As a Landscape Crew Leader, you will play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and health of outdoor environments, guiding team members, and ensuring safety and efficiency on all job sites. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team during daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards Oversee landscape maintenance activities including trimming, planting, pruning, mulching and other various tasks Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in horticulture, tree care, lawn care Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on work progress Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping or ability to learn quickly Willingness to work at a faster than average pace Supervising or leadership experience Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and operating landscaping equipment Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Valid driver's license Must be reliable
