Responsibilities Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, trimming, planting, and mulching to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects. Support hardscape installations by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features like patios or walkways. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal with proper techniques and safety measures. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and performing basic repairs to ensure proper watering. Assist with snow plowing and snow removal during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe. Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly preferred. Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques. Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other machinery is a plus but not required. Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping, tree care, irrigation, and hardscape work.
