Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including digging, trimming, and installing landscape features Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, and retaining walls using appropriate tools and techniques Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, and snow plowing during seasonal changes Contribute to tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and assisting with repairs or installations Support construction projects by excavating, grading, and preparing sites for landscaping or hardscape installation Experience Basic mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance preferred but not required Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care practices, and hardscape installation techniques is a plus Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and construction environments
