Landscape Laborer

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscaping while contributing to community beautification projects. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers using hand tools and power tools Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure healthy turf and vibrant lawns Maintain existing landscapes through pruning, tree trimming, irrigation system installation and repair, and seasonal snow plowing Operate equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and other construction machinery safely and efficiently for hardscape and landscaping projects Support landscape maintenance activities including soil preparation, mulching, watering, and pest control Help with the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Conduct routine inspections of landscapes for health issues or safety hazards and perform necessary repairs or adjustments Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery confidently Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong understanding of landscaping principles including horticulture practices and plant care Knowledge of irrigation systems and tree care techniques is a plus Experience with snow plowing during winter months is advantageous Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in construction and landscape projects Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship helps shape beautiful outdoor spaces!
