Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for each patient, focusing on optimal outcomes and safe discharge. Modify treatment programs in collaboration with the care team, ensuring alignment with patient goals and physician guidance. Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Serve as an educator to patients, their families, colleagues, and students to foster a collaborative healing environment. Champion patient and employee safety by adhering to all safety protocols in areas including safe patient handling, infection control, and hazard reporting. Fulfill all documentation and regulatory requirements accurately and in accordance with clinic policies. Actively participate in continuing education, self-study, and professional organizations, applying new knowledge to improve patient care and contribute to organizational goals. Uphold professional standards, code of conduct, and maintain state licensure and required CEUs. Support student programs through supervision, instruction, and evaluations as assigned.
Desired Qualifications:
Current state Physical Therapy license (or eligibility). Prior experience in outpatient or hospital therapy settings preferred. Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
