Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and become a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant, beautiful environments! In this energetic role, you will assist with a variety of landscaping, lawn care, and maintenance tasks that keep properties looking pristine and inviting. Whether working on planting, hardscape installation, or seasonal snow plowing, you will gain hands-on experience in multiple aspects of landscape and horticultural work. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance while contributing to community beautification projects. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Operate hand tools and power tools safely for planting, edging, and other landscaping tasks Support the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, and weed control to promote lush turf growth Conduct tree care activities such as pruning, trimming, and planting to enhance tree health and safety Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and performing basic repairs as needed Support seasonal tasks like snow plowing and de-icing to ensure safe access during winter months Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and power tools effectively Experience with lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance techniques Familiarity with landscaping materials such as mulch, soil, stone, and hardscape components Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools safely and efficiently Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and planting for health and safety reasons Understanding of irrigation systems for proper installation and troubleshooting Basic construction skills relevant to landscape projects such as excavation or installing hardscape features Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining outdoor environments Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards Join us in creating stunning landscapes that inspire pride!
