  • Field Project Supervisor Terrapin Landscapes in Kennebunkport, Maine is adding a hardscape/masonry professional with field leadership skills to their growing team.
The business creates beautiful and functional hardscapes and landscapes for high-end residential customers and takes pride in their artisanship and their ability to meet the customers' objectives. Terrapin professionals are committed to excellence. If you are an experienced mason who is passionate about your craft, and enjoys top equipment and assistance, they'd like to hear from you. This position is the mastermind of installation in the field overseeing and directing the project. The majority of the role is physical and on site, providing masonry and stonework services to clients. The role requires a motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to have great attention to detail and deadlines. The Field Project Supervisor must read plans, execute hardscape details and delegate to their team to complete projects on time.
Responsibilities:
Perform skilled masonry work including building, altering and repairing structures. Oversee and direct the operations of all hardscape activities from start to finish. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors and in-house team members. Promote job site safety, demonstrate and encourage safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards immediately. Direct all in-house employees to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in various facets of masonry. Proficient in reading blueprints. Proficient in using all tools of the trade, including tractors and oversized trucks. Clean driving record. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong team player who can successfully provide direction and supervision. Terrapin Landscapes cares about the health and well-being of its employees.
