Landscape/Maintenance Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Landscape/Maintenance Worker to join our vacation rental team. This role involves performing a variety of outdoor maintenance and landscaping tasks to ensure the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various landscaping and maintenance equipment. This position offers opportunities to develop skills in horticulture, landscape design, and indoor/outdoor home upkeep-related tasks. We are also seeking someone to assist in cleaning hot tubs between guests. Responsibilities Perform lawn care including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to maintain healthy turf. Conduct landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, tree care, and shrub trimming. Operate hand tools and power tools Assist the maintenance coordinator with various indoor/outdoor tasks. Including but not limited to hot tub maintenance, power washing, cleaning P-traps and moving furniture. Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes. Maintain hardscape, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, stairs and other structures. Perform general gardening duties and weed control. Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols when handling tools and machinery to prevent accidents or injuries. cross-train on outdoor window cleaning and hot tub servicing Experience Prior experience in landscape maintenance or related fields such as construction or horticulture is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to operating lawn care equipment and power tools is highly desirable. Familiarity with coastal lawn care practices, tree trimming preferred. Hands-on experience with gardening techniques and landscape design will be considered an asset. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a professional attitude is essential. Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
