Landscaper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our dynamic groundskeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor environments through various landscaping, gardening, and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of horticulture, landscape design, and the use of hand and power tools. Key Responsibilities:

Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to ensure healthy turf growth Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscapes with precision and care Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for planting, digging, or landscape construction projects Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote safety and aesthetic appeal Install and maintain irrigation systems to optimize water efficiency across landscapes Execute snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access and mobility Assist with landscape design implementation by preparing sites and installing hardscape elements like patios or walkways Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure operational safety and longevity Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality landscaping services aligned with client expectations Follow safety protocols diligently during all landscaping operations Experience Candidates should demonstrate a minimum of two years of experience in landscaping or related fields. Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or construction is highly valued. Familiarity with horticultural practices, tree care techniques, irrigation systems, and the use of various hand tools and power equipment is essential. Knowledge of mechanical systems such as excavators or snow plowing machinery is preferred. Strong understanding of landscape design principles and horticulture will support effective project execution. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are important for success in this role. A valid driver's license and the ability to operate machinery safely are required.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
