Job Description

Description:
Our commitment to excellent guest services is what drives us, and we are dedicated to hiring outstanding individuals who share our passion for ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience while staying with us. We are currently looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to join our hotel team as a Landscaper . This individual helps maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and general safety of the property. He or she works with a minimum of supervision to ensure all areas of the property are maintained in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition by ensuring mason work at all properties is in excellent condition. The candidate will be working in multiple facilities. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is a requirement. Some nights, weekends, and holidays may be required. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of landscaping experience. He or she must have the physical ability to perform all aspects of this job (lifting, standing, bending, etc.), must be reliable and trustworthy, and must pay attention to detail and take pride in his or her work.
Responsibilities:
Lawn and Garden Maintenance:
Mow, trim, edge, fertilize, water, and aerate lawns; prune and shape hedges and trees
Irrigation and Water Management:
Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems; schedule watering to optimize plant health
Pest and Weed Control:
Apply pesticides and herbicides safely; remove weeds and manage plant diseases
Soil Preparation and Mulching:
Prepare soil, apply mulch, and maintain landscape beds to support plant growth
Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
Safely operate mowers, tractors, leaf blowers, aerators, and other landscaping tools; maintain equipment in good condition
Outdoor Structure Installation:
Install benches, fountains, stone pathways, patios, and lighting systems
Supervision and Coordination:
Oversee maintenance tasks, coordinate with other landscaping professionals, and advise on landscape care
Safety Compliance:
Follow OSHA regulations and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries Maintains clean, organized work areas and securely stores equipment and supplies Completes any reports or logs Reports equipment malfunctions, injuries, and accidents to the supervisor Performs other duties as assigned Performs small repairs as assigned
