Job Summary The role of Landscaper is responsible for maintaining the ornamental plants by propagating plant materials for ornamental use around buildings, parking lots, and other areas. Additionally, the role of Landscaper is responsible for mowing, trimming, and pruning as needed while also assisting the Lead Landscaper and Superintendent as directed. Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions

• Cut lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls
• Rake, mulch, pull weeds and prune the grounds as needed
• Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes
• Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer
• Apply pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as mosquitos, wasps, ticks, and others
• Sweep walkway of debris
• Shovel snow from walkways and sprinkle ice down to keep people from falling
• Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger
• Install and maintain lawn furniture and other outdoor fixtures, such as rock, cement, lighting, and water features
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping
• Perform groundskeeping and building maintenance duties, including routine tasks such as applying plaster, fixing fountains, and other general maintenance as needed
• All other duties as assigned
