• Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Mastercam Lathe Programmer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC lathe programs in a Job Shop environment. This role requires strong technical expertise in CNC programming, CAD/CAM software, and a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes. The job also requires machine set-up and operation. Duties Develop and modify CNC lathe programs using Mastercam software to print specification. Set up and operate Vertical CNC lathe, ensuring precise machining of complex parts. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, utilizing GD&T principles for accurate manufacturing. Perform tooling selection, setup, and adjustments to optimize machining processes. Conduct precision measurements using bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments to ensure parts meet specifications. Maintain documentation of programs, tooling setups, and process parameters for quality control and continuous improvement initiatives. Skills Proficiency in CNC programming with Mastercam, specifically for CNC lathe operations. Strong knowledge of Fanuc control systems and CNC Vertical Lathe. Understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, GD&T standards, and geometric calculations. Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of manufacturing best practices including tool selection and setup for CNC lathes. Strong math skills relevant to machining tolerances and geometric calculations.
