Job Description

Join the B&D Sales team and be part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you'll help jewelers create unforgettable moments for their customers. The Laser Field Repair Technician supports jewelers worldwide by providing high-quality service, repairs, and maintenance for laser equipment in both remote and on-site environments. This role combines technical and mechanical expertise with strong customer service skills to diagnose issues, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure optimal performance. Working in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting, the technician collaborates closely with internal teams while traveling to customer locations as needed, with reduced and flexible travel options available to support business and individual needs. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, test, and repair laser equipment both remotely and in personDocument customer interactions and process invoices using company systemsRespond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and virtual platformsCollaborate with internal teams and specialists to deliver a seamless customer experienceDrive a company vehicle for customer site visits and equipment deliveriesLift, crate, and uncrate laser equipment and shipments as neededProvide on-site customer support as needed, including limited or occasional travel based on service needs and technician availability (overnight travel may be required in some cases)Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach during all service interactions Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with a clean driving record (subject to drug screen and background check)Strong communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactionsCustomer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamTechnical and mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn circuitry and mechanical systemsPositive, coachable attitude and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications Forklift operation experiencePrevious experience in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical work, microelectronics, diagnostics, or technician rolesKnowledge of the jewelry industry and/or laser equipment
