Boating Discounts Launch Operations Personnel are qualified and authorized employees responsible for operating the launch vessel under the direction of the General Manager. This role may be referred to as Maritime Operations. •Must have a Limited Master (Launch Tender) License Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate the launch vessel to transport mooring members and guests between the marina and their vessels in the mooring field Ensure the safety of all passengers by following established operating procedures, maintaining situational awareness, and enforcing safety guidelines Provide courteous, professional, and responsive customer service to all members and guests Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including handling lines as needed Conduct routine checks of the launch vessel and report any mechanical issues, safety concerns, or maintenance needs. Keep the launch clean, orderly, and properly equipped at all times Maintain daily operational logs, including passenger counts, trips completed, and vessel status
Communicate effectively with marina staff and management regarding vessel operations and member needs Technical and Physical Requirements Limited Master (Launch Tender) License Must be 18 years or older 2-5 years of marina experience preferred Ability to work safely around water Must be able to swim Must have a valid drivers' license Ability to lift 50 pounds
