Laundry Aid

Housekeeping/Laundry Aid - Job Description Titan SenQuest Management, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper for The Willows Assisted Living, our senior living community in Blackfoot, Idaho. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining and cleaning community common areas and resident apartments.

This full-time position is approximately 40 hours per week. Monday- Friday morning shift is from 8:00 am-4:30 pm.. We offer a competitive wage starting at $14.00 per hour, depending on experience. Duties and Responsibilities

• Interacts with residents and staff in a professional, friendly, and compassionate manner at all times
• Provides light housekeeping of resident apartments, including changing/making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, removing trash, vacuuming, and mopping
• Reports any items that need maintenance or repair, including burned-out light bulbs, water leaks, etc
• Maintains stock of supplies, including cleaning products, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, and other items needed
• Launders bed linens
• Clean, vacuum/mop all common areas of the community
• Completes make-ready cleaning of vacant resident apartments, which consists of deep cleaning all areas of the apartment, including appliances
• Maintain a clean work area and keep the cart clean and well-organized
• Meet assigned time requirements as scheduled by supervisor
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Regular attendance is required, and one must have a desire to be a team player
• Understand emergency procedures and MSDS procedures for all chemicals used
• Understand procedures for blood removal
• Follow all OSHA, Fire, Health Department, and safety requirements Skills/Qualifications
• Ability to clean resident apartments according to company policy and direction.
• Ability to clean common areas according to company policy and direction.
• General knowledge of sanitation.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents and co-workers in English.
• Demonstrate good judgment skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work well under stress, complete assignments accurately, and work independently, as well as with co-workers.
• Demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability.
• Must have basic computer skills.
