Laundry Aide

O'Brien Memorial Health Care Center Seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to cleanliness and resident comfort, with experience in laundry and cleaning procedures. As a Laundry Aide , you will play a vital role in maintaining the hygiene standards of our facility by efficiently handling laundry services and supporting overall cleanliness efforts.

Laundry Attendant Responsibilities:

Tends laundering machines to wash sheets, blankets, pillow coverings, towels, wash clothes, aprons, mop heads, and personal articles of residents. Loads articles into washer and follows machine specific programs. Lifts clean wet articles from washer and places them into hamper to transport to dryers for measured time cycles. Sorts, folds articles and places items in the appropriate storage bin and linen closets. Is responsible for returning clean personal laundry to resident's room. (May have instance to use a step-ladder.)

Laundry Attendant Qualifications:

Previous industrial housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
