Laundry Housekeeping Worker

Hours are 7am-3:30pm and every other weekend Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Aide/Housekeeper, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure the cleanliness and freshness of our residents' linens, clothing, personal items, room and facility. You will also label, delivery clothing to rooms and put away. In this vital role, you'll handle laundry operations with precision and care, contributing to a welcoming environment that exceeds residents expectations. Your dedication will help maintain the highest standards of hygiene and presentation across our facilities, making every guest stay memorable and comfortable. As a housekeeping you will clean room and facilty on a daily bases. Your hours will vary from laundry aide and housekeeper as scheduled. Duties Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines efficiently and safely to process linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly cleaning machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces. Follow established protocols for stain removal and fabric care to preserve item quality. Track laundry inventory levels, label and communicate supply needs promptly to ensure continuous operations. Assist with basic housekeeping tasks related to linen storage areas to uphold organizational standards. Cleaning, organizing resident rooms and facilty. Requirements Prior experience in laundry operations and/or hotel housekeeping is preferred. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and dry cleaning processes. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and effectively while adhering to safety guidelines. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control for all processed items. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently throughout your shift.
