Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Pet Loss Support & Animal Transporter to join our team. This dual-role position requires strong administrative skills and a love for animals. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and assist in daily operations.Duties:
- Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, creating memorial products, and managing emails
- Pick up and transport animals safely from vet offices to our facility daily
- Helping to assist in after hours phone calls to dispatch and transfer pet family members into our care
- Maintaining community relationships with partnered clinics and vets
- Keeping pet transfer vehicles clean and stocked of supplies
- Provide administrative support to various departments and assist with additional office tasks as needed
- Ability to lift larger animals (50-75 Pounds)
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Background in animal or veterinary procedures
- Knowledge of administrative functions
