Temp Animal Control Officer Now Hiring in Paris, TX Do you enjoy working with animals, being out in the community, and making a difference every day? We're looking for a dependable Animal Control Officer to help protect both animals and residents throughout the Paris area.Schedule:
Tuesday- Saturday | 8:00 AM
- 5:00
PM Pay:
$15.72 per hourWhat You'll Do:
- Respond to calls regarding stray, injured, or nuisance animals
- Safely capture and transport animals to the shelter
- Clean and sanitize animal shelter facilities and kennels
- Patrol areas with recurring animal-related concerns
- Deliver and retrieve live traps for wild animal capture
- Assist with animal care and shelter operations
- Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License required
- Previous experience working with animals is preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Comfortable handling animals safely and professionally
- Dependable with strong communication skills
