Job Description
Under administrative direction, is responsible for managing and coordinating the facility or field operations of the City's Animal Shelter and ensuring the safe, humane care, treatment, housing and transport of animals. Working conditions are primarily inside an office, with exposure to working in an animal kennel environment. Exercises direct supervision over assigned staff. This position is an "unclassified" position and has no disciplinary appeal rights to the Municipal Civil Service Commission. This position is likewise subject to at-will employment status and can be terminated at any time for any reason. Work Location Animal Care Services Headquarters

- 6:00 PM Tuesday
- Saturday Occasional evenings required Manages operations, establishes goals and assesses performance of the facility and field operations to include cruelty investigations.
