Adoption Counselors are part of the 'front-of-house' team and are the first group to greet everyone who visits HSSW. They perform excellent adoptions, deal compassionately with lost and found pets and provide stellar customer service at every opportunity. They are responsible for providing counseling and education for the general public regarding HSSW policies and animal welfare issues. They are responsible for coordinating adoptions and all related computer records and paperwork. They are responsible for answering phones and emails as well. Starting pay is $12.98/hour. Minimum 17 years old, flexible schedule, weekends required. We currently have one 40-hour/week full-time position open.
