Regional Representative (Independent Contractor) J1 High School Exchange Program International Cultural Exchange Services - 3.5 Hilton Head, SC Job Details Contract 4 days ago Qualifications Experience working with high schoolers Full Job Description J‑1 High School Exchange Program - International Cultural Exchange Services (ICES) is seeking an experienced and self‑motivated Independent Contractor to serve as a Regional Representative for our J‑1 High School Exchange Program. This role focuses on supporting regional placement efforts and collaborating with Local Coordinators and District Representatives to promote program growth within an assigned region. Responsibilities Recruit within your assigned region and support outreach efforts. Assist with identifying volunteer host families and facilitating the placement of international high school exchange students. Support placement progress and help the region meet program deadlines and compliance requirements. Collaborate with the Placement Department to promote successful student placements. Share placement activity updates with ICES as needed. Maintain a working knowledge of U.S. Department of State regulations, CSIET Standards, and ICES program guidelines applicable to contractors. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience with a J‑1 High School Exchange Program. Experience recruiting, guiding, or supporting others is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Knowledge of Department of State regulations and CSIET Standards. Self‑motivated, able to work independently, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Independent Contractor Statement This is a 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity . Contractors determine their own schedules and methods for achieving results and are not employees of ICES.
