Salary is hourly + commission per bond signed at the jail. The position is for a Bail Bonding Agent who will work directly with clients as well as officers at the Adult Detention Center. S/he will be responsible for explaining the legal processes necessary for a bail bond. The Agent will also be responsible for obtaining necessary detailed information from clients. S/he will travel to the Adult Detention Center to fill out the legal documents required by that agency for the defendant to be released from custody. The agent will also be responsible for general office/clerical work. Applicants must have good communication skills developed from experience working directly with customers or clients. Interest in law is a must. All applicants must pass a criminal background check and have reliable transportation. Knowledge of the industry is not required. We will train the right person. ), reliable vehicle, working phone, competent using a computer and been a resident of GA for at least 2 years. Schedule - Flexibility is helpful. Applicant will need to be able to work varying shifts including holidays, weekends and help with emergency cover as needed. We are a 24/7 business. Variable 8-12 hour shifts depending on scheduled days 4pm-12am (weekday evening shifts) and 8a-8p (weekend shifts) Schedule will be a combination of both with one weekend completely off each month. This agent will be licensed in 2 counties, Barrow and Clarke. At times, you will have to go to other locations. Pay is hourly plus commission.
