Shift information : 5% additional pay for evening shift work; 7.5% additional pay for night shift work. Applicants must be able and willing to work any shift of a 24-hour period and any 5 of 7 days.

Examination:

Written Exam (Weight 100%) May include knowledge of standard office procedures, methods and equipment; basic filing and record keeping; English language, grammar and punctuation, customer service principles; basic math concepts and calculations other relevant material. The Human Resources Division may solely conduct an appraisal of application materials should there be an insufficient number of candidates to warrant a written examination. Applicants must attain at least a 70% score on each phase of the examination process.

Minimum Qualifications/ Employment Standards:

High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent Certification of Typing/Keyboarding speed of 45 net words per minute

Some Positions May Require:

Possession of a Valid California Driver's License Transcription speed of 45 net words per minute Applicants MUST submit a copy of their typing or keyboard certificate, issued within the last two years, verifying a speed of 45 net words per minute and attach it with their completed application.
