We are an expanding pediatric medical practice in the Buckhead Atlanta area that is seeking an energetic, warm team member to complete our staff. We value people, both staff and patients, and want both to feel welcomed, appreciated, and respected. You will work directly with one board-certified Pediatrician, weekdays only. Pediatric MA/Front Desk Associate responsibilities include: Front Desk duties as needed in the office including exhibiting a warm, welcoming, and energetic personality and demeanor to all visitors in a professional manner. Excellent computer and organizational skills. Scheduling of appointments to promote office efficiency and workflow. Excellent phone communication and writing skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily duties. MA duties as needed in the office including caring for pediatric patients from birth to 18 years of age. Checking vital signs and growth parameters appropriate for each age and charting them. Administering medications to patients in office with MD oversight. Maintaining health records in an Electronic Health Record and appropriate writing skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements include:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a pediatric outpatient clinic/office. A certificate of completion for Medical Assistant training. Minimum education of high school diploma or GED. Prefer experience with basic insurance, but at minimum, the ability to learn insurance to handle patient calls/questions.
