08/28/2026, 5:00 PM Jail Operations Support plays a crucial role in providing services within the adult jail facility. This position is a non-security position that supports all jail operational efforts but does not directly supervise inmates. This position requires a strong commitment to regulations and procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a challenging environment. Position includes working nights, holidays, and weekends.
Annual Salary:
$44,396 - $48,620 • Additional salary growth available through regular increases within the classification up to $61,299
Benefits:
Excellent health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, paid holidays, plus additional pay for working holidays. Opportunity for overtime.
Responsibilities:
1.
Medication Administration:
o Accurately administer prescribed medications to inmates following established protocols. o Document medication administration and any observed side effects. o Report adverse reactions promptly to nursing staff. 2.
Operational Support:
o Assist in various areas of the jail on an as needed basis. o Train for security control operation, records entry, and court records management. o Assist with deliveries, procurement, and logistics for the facility. o Assist with internal operational functions. 3.
Emergency Response:
o Assist during emergencies within the facility. o Follow emergency protocols and provide immediate support as directed. 4.
Collaboration:
o Work closely with security staff, medical staff, and administrative staff. o Communicate effectively with team members and facility staff. 5.
Security Awareness:
o Understand security protocols and maintain situational awareness while working in a correctional setting. o Follow safety guidelines to prevent incidents.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. Confidentiality and ethical conduct are essential. Valid drivers license Able to pass a comprehensive background investigation process.
