Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Considerable knowledge of corrections methods and practices Knowledge of policies and procedures utilized in a correctional facility Knowledge of appropriate methods of discipline applied to inmates Considerable interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Ability to accurately evaluate situations and make effective supervisory decisions Ability to utilize industry related computer software Supervisory ability Minimum Qualifications Requires correctional experience Must be a certified Corrections Officer in the state of NH, or the ability to obtain certification through the NHAC; will consider equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
