• Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within two weeks of closing date. Due to the available budget allocated for this position, the hiring rate will not exceed $20.92 per hour. Why does the job exist? This position will provide direct support to the Chief of Security while performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties to support and assist the Central New Mexico Correctional Facility. How does it get done? Provide direct support to Supervisor Maintain confidential personnel records Receive and disseminate correspondence as required Archive facility files Maintain daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports Who are the customers? New Mexico Corrections Department Public Vendors Ideal Candidate New Mexico Corrections Department Public Vendors Minimum Qualification No prior experience or training required. Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Employment is subject to a pre-employment background investigation and is conditional pending results. Working Conditions Work is performed in an adult prison environment, which includes daily contact with inmates.
