Job Description

Job Summary Required:
Previous state/local law enforcement OR correctional officers who qualify under current Federal Statute HR 218 compliance. Current Florida concealed weapon permit. Ability to obtain Pari-Mutuel License from DBPR. Must have contact information for previous agency for background check. Possess the ability to stand/walk at post for reasonable periods of time. Redcoat security officers are responsible for maintaining and enforcing work area safety and security. Operations are 7 days a week. Monday-Thursday 0930-0430 and Friday opening at 0930 with a 24-hour operating schedule until 0430 Monday morning. Current work shifts are 9.5 and 12 hours in length. Applicant must be available for any shift at either bestbet location if needed. Routine tasks include (but are not limited to): Enforcing appropriate dress code. Monitoring assigned areas for safety issues. Generating reports for security related incidents. Handling any disturbances that may arise, including ejections. Ensuring a secure building at close of business. Pay starting at $22 per hour with shift differential
