NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY, ALL TRAINING IS PROVIDED
" By applying to this job, you are expressly consenting to receive text messages from the Florida Department of Corrections SALARY $22 PER HOUR Supervision of inmate population. Observation of traffic in and around compound. Monitor and screen inmate visitation. Complete periodic inspections of quarters and work areas. Conduct inmate escorts with proper use of restraint devices. Use of radio communication equipment and other security devices. Properly maintain and demonstrate proficiency in the use and care of firearms. Record keeping. Inventory of equipment supplies and other items. Inspection of inmate mail for possible contraband
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BE
AT LEAST 18 YRS US CITIZEN BE A HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE OR EQUIVELENT BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK BE ABLE TO PASS MEDICAL EXAM MUST POSSESS VALID DRIVER LICENSE MUST NOT HAVE A DISHONORABLE CHARACTERIZATION OF MILITARY SERVICE.
