All employees must initially start out completing all required training to be eligible to apply for any available full time positions. Full time positions are available for the right candidate with a possibility of fast track with successful training/shadowing hours to ensure full time is appropriate for the candidate. Juvenile Detention Facility currently accepting applications for juvenile correctional officers. You must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, at a minimum possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have clean state, national, & child protective services records checks, successfully complete a pre-employment physical. Experience working with youth is preferred. Juvenile correction officers maintain the safety and security of incarcerated youth in a maximum security facility. Hours vary and are based on your availability. Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holiday hours available. We currently have openings on all shifts (day/night/weekends). Earning Overtime is possible at this time. Must be willing to work throughout the entire month, a variety of shifts in order to be considered. Excellent opportunity to get experience to assist with careers in the field of law enforcement, probation, court setting, etc. Serious inquiries only!
