Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Correctional Officers. As a Correctional Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of our correctional facility. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle conflict, and a commitment to maintaining order within the facility.Responsibilities:
- Maintain security and control within the correctional facility
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the facility
- Monitor inmate activities and behavior
- Enforce rules and regulations to ensure compliance
- Respond to emergencies and incidents within the facility
- Conduct searches of inmates, visitors, and their belongings
- Prepare reports on incidents, violations, and inmate behavior
- Assist in the transportation of inmates as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in law enforcement or a related field is preferred
- Strong conflict management skills
- Excellent report writing abilities
- Familiarity with CCTV systems is a plus
