Corrections Officer, Cloud County Sheriff's Department Corrections Officer, Cloud County Sheriff's Department
08/12/2026 10:38 AM The Cloud County Sheriff's Department is seeking to fill two full-time Corrections Officers' positions. Starting pay for Corrections Officer Level 1 is $18.00/hr. The County Sheriff's Department provides very competitive insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield. Vacation days are accrued from the start of employment and are available for use at the 6-month mark of employment. All applicants must complete a 5-day jail academy training course.
Minimum qualifications must include:
- High school Diploma/GED
- KS Driver's License
- No Felonies or Domestic Violence Convictions
- Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening
