08/14/2026 6:26 AM The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for a Full-Time Jailer. We are looking for a person that possess strong communications skills, integrity, morality and enthusiasm. As a Jailer you will help in the day-to-day operations of the Pottawatomie County Jail in order to assure the welfare of inmates. Responsibilities include booking & releasing offenders, maintaining security of the facility, and escorting offenders. Additional responsibilities include supervising work release programs, dispense medications, effectively manage volatile and violent offenders, and complete a number of clerical duties.
