IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR CAREER MINDED INDIVIDUALS
- DEPUTY JAILERS.
STARTING PAY RATE
= $18.00/HR!! Plus additional 5% increase after completing a six (6) month probationary period! 1st YEAR- $ 41,184 + $ 27,232 in
BENEFITS
= $ 68,416!! This position is non-exempt and is eligible for Overtime!REQUIREMENTS
:APPLICANTS MUST MEET ALL 16 OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS.
(Please read) : 1. Pass intensive background check and drug screening. 2. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. 3. Have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. 4. Be available to work Day (0650-1900hrs) shift and/or Night (1850-0700hrs) shift.- Shift assignments will be assigned after the completion of recruit training and will be dependent upon the needs of the facility at that time.

Do not apply if you have had more then two (2) jobs within the last year, or more then three (3) jobs within the last two years. 9. Have an excellent attendance record that may be verified with all previous employers. 10. Have a clean criminal record with no Felony convictions, violent misdemeanors (including ANY assault charges) or numerous misdemeanors. 11. Meet the qualifications to become a Sworn Peace Officer. 12 . Be legally allowed to carry/possess a firearm (CCW NOT required, Firearms training is provided) 13 . Be physically and mentally able to perform the duties of a Deputy Jailer. 14. Must live within 45 minutes of the Detention Center. 15. Must be a U.S. Citizen 16 . Must be able to transmit and receive communications using a two-way radio. Responsibilities Ensure the safety and security of inmates and staff within the facility. Manage conflicts and de-escalate situations effectively. Monitor CCTV cameras for any suspicious activities. Provide first aid and CPR when necessary. Write detailed reports on incidents and daily activities. Utilize law enforcement training to enforce rules and regulations. Possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive as needed. We have a GREAT work schedule (Pittman Shift). Example of a two week pay period: Week 1- Work Fri, OFF Sat
