R1=24&R2=004080&R3=0001 The minimum qualifications for this position include a High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 21 years of age (able to apply at 20 years and 6 months); US Citizenship or Resident Alien Status; and complete background requirements. _ No experience required. Candidates must meet all minimum qualifications for the Correctional Officer I position to be eligible for an interview.
Salary:
From $54,447 per year
Sign On & Regional Bonus:
Up to $7,500 HIRING
INCENTIVES
Newly hired Correctional Officers will receive a $5,000 incentive
  • $2,000 after successfully completing their training at a Maryland Police and Correctional Training Academy and $3,000 after successfully completing their probationary period.
A regional hiring bonus of $2,500 is available for applicants who select the Eastern Shore, Hagerstown, or Cumberland facilities.
