Job Summary

HIRING FOR FEMALE DETENTION OFFICERS NIGHT SHIFT

• Join our dedicated team as a Detention Officer, where you will play a vital role in maintaining safety, security, and order within detention facilities. Your proactive approach and strong sense of responsibility will ensure the well-being of staff, inmates, and visitors alike. This position offers an engaging opportunity to apply law enforcement principles, conflict management skills, and security expertise in a dynamic environment. As a Detention Officer, you will be the frontline guardian of safety, utilizing surveillance tools and emergency response protocols to uphold facility integrity. Duties Monitor inmate activity through CCTV surveillance systems to ensure safety and compliance with facility rules. Conduct regular security checks and visual inspections of detention areas, ensuring all protocols are followed. Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents or disturbances using conflict management techniques and de-escalation skills. Maintain detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and inmate behavior using precise report writing practices. Providing immediate care in emergency situations until professional medical assistance arrives. Enforce facility policies by supervising inmate movements, searches, and interactions with visitors or staff. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incident responses to uphold legal standards. Experience Prior experience in law enforcement, security, military service, or detention facilities is highly preferred but not required. Demonstrated knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable but not required. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during tense situations. Proven ability to write clear, accurate reports documenting incidents and daily activities. Familiarity with security procedures, report writing standards, and emergency response protocols enhances effectiveness in this role. Pay:

From $18.20 per hour
