Community Corrections Center Youth Leader-Corrections Officer

Youth Leaders at the Community Corrections Facility work with all male felony offender youth. This facility is a secure facility that is working with youth that can have behavioral issues and would be considered to be a higher risk than the average juvenile. Staff will monitor youth in a secure treatment setting while providing guidance, life skills, structure and rule compliance. Staff serve as the authority to the youth within the facility and are responsible for providing safety and security as well as direct supervision for the youth. This position, while challenging, is a great opportunity to make a difference in the future of these youth. This position provides a unique opportunity to engage with at risk youth and to work as part of a team to truly impact this population.
