From $17.00 per hour Job description: Position Summary The Rehabilitation Advisor provides direct supervision, mentorship, and support to youth in a structured rehabilitation environment. This role is responsible for maintaining safety and security, promoting positive behavior change, documenting youth progress, and assisting with daily programming and activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise youth and document behaviors using the program's behavioral management system. Complete required documentation, including incident reports, progress notes, behavior reports, and daily logs. Assist youth with educational assignments, GED work, and other program-related activities. Transport youth to appointments, court hearings, community service assignments, and other approved activities. Facilitate or assist with groups and program activities. Maintain a safe, structured environment by enforcing program rules, schedules, and facility procedures. Conduct routine room checks, bed checks, searches, and drug screenings as required. Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques and approved crisis intervention methods when necessary. Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established policies and procedures. Assist with facility operations, including meal service, laundry, cleanliness, and organization. Attend required trainings and staff meetings. Promote the safety, welfare, and well-being of youth and staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience Experience working with youth preferred. Experience in juvenile justice, corrections, behavioral health, residential treatment, or a related field is preferred but not required. Education Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted for education requirements.
