Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol College Graduate in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with site personnel. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government law-enforcement location by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.Minimum Requirements:
Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent. Possess a college degree. Have two or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience. Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a Police Academy Certificate, or a Corrections Academy Certificate. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
