Job Description

WFSE Article 4.7 Internal Transfer Opportunity Community Corrections Officer 2 (WC70) Renton Field Office The salary listed for this position does not include the 5% premium pay for positions based in King County. Department of Corrections offers free ORCA card to all employees who are permanently assigned work in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. The Community Corrections Division has permanent, full time, Community Corrections Officer 2 opening available in Northwest Region-Section 5, Renton Field Office. This position is physically located in Kent, WA. The work schedules for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work hours are determined by unit needs and are at the discretion of the unit supervisor. If you are currently working an alternate work schedule, please be aware that this position may not be able to honor that schedule. For questions, please contact the Human Resource Office. In accordance with Article 4.7 of the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE) 2025-2027 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), this job opening is available to internal transfer candidates ONLY.
