Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Principal, performs a variety of bilingual community assistant activities at an assigned school site; serves as an interpreter between students, parents, families, administrators and staff; performs a variety of clerical duties; assists with parent meetings and advisory councils; prepares and maintain related records and reports related to assigned duties.   • Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION

Graduation from high school or equivalent GED. Associate (AA) degree, or education beyond an AA degree is highly desirable.

EXPERIENCE

One (1) year of related experience involving frequent public contact and working with school age children.

SPECIAL LICENSE, CERTIFICATION OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Incumbents in this classification are required to speak, read and write in English and a designated second language.

Passing scores on District's Bilingual Exam required
