Legal Transcriber Remote | Independent Contractor | Federal Contract eScribers is seeking 30 experienced legal transcribers to support a federal contract. This is a remote, independent contractor opportunity for reliable professionals with strong transcription, grammar, punctuation, and listening skills. Required Qualifications To be considered, applicants must : Be a U.S. citizen residing in the United States. Possess a REAL ID or current, valid U.S. passport. Be willing to undergo a Public Trust background investigation. Have a Windows-based computer running Windows 10 or later. Have an active, current version of Microsoft Word. Have at least two years of transcription experience. Type at a minimum of 55 words per minute. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrate excellent grammar and punctuation skills. Have exceptional listening and comprehension skills. Commit to transcribing at least 200 audio minutes per week. Maintain consistent access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection. Have a compatible USB foot pedal, such as the Infinity IN-USB-2 or
