Unit Clerk - PCU Waikiki Ewa III Kuakini Medical Center - 3.0 Honolulu, HI Job Details Full-time $21.82 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Title of Position Unit Clerk - PCU Waikiki Ewa III Work Hours Regular Full-Time (Req# 2026-312) 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shift. Overtime, floating, and schedule changes may be required. Regular Full-Time (Req# 2026-313) 40 hours per week, 8-hour rotational shifts with rotating days off, weekends and holidays. Overtime, floating, and schedule changes may be required. Subsidiary Kuakini Medical Center Description of Position Performs primarily physician order transcription, clerical and reception duties, including coordinating activities in the nurses' station, maintaining par level of supplies and equipment for the unit, and other related duties as required or instructed. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent, required. Typing and computer keyboard skills highly recommended. Previous experience in transcribing physicians' orders preferred. Minimum six (6) months experience in hospital setting or medical field with knowledge of medical terminology preferred; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position. Requires successful completion of hospital orientation classes as well as full-time 6-week orientation/training on assigned unit.
