In this full-time, on-site role, youll provide individualized, 1:1 instructional support to pediatric learners, using your expertise to help every child reach their potential. This position is tailored for passionate travel professionals ready for a rewarding experience working closely with school-aged students who are visually impaired.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (B.A.) required State licensure as a Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired Previous experience supporting students in a school setting, preferably with 1:1 pediatric caseloads Commitment to fostering independence and academic achievement for students with visual impairments
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Develop and implement adapted lesson plans and instructional strategies for students with visual impairments Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student needs Deliver direct, individualized instruction and support students with orientation and mobility skills Maintain accurate progress reports and participate in IEP meetings Advocate for accessibility and inclusion within the school environment Whats in Store for
