Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Medical Assisting Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Medical Assisting courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation. Requirements Completion of a Medical Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
Certification:
CMA and/or RMA and/or CCMA At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting, patient-facing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
